Q. What do you love or hate about PVP? (Answer!)
A. I enjoy PvP. There's nothing like running into an area and completely wiping out a mob of players - especially enemies and guild enemies. =) Ok ok, it also helps you improve your pk skills if you are dueling with a friend, or even if you are in a group attack.
In CO it's just mindless clicking and killing, but it can be fun as a warmup to other games. =3 Safe to say I'm a PKer on CO. I also enjoy the PvP in WH - I like how they have it set up.
Q. Where did you get your gaming names from? (Answer!)
A. A few years ago my main on CO was called Kai-rin - that was a name I had just kinda came up with. A few of my character names have come from a series of books I read, "A Song of Fire and Ice." Daenerys, Dracarys, Catelyn - from the books. Kagura, Sekaki, Namie and a few others come from anime or are just Japanese names I like. I had a char named Sterling once - that's my nickname.
Q. Are you interested in working within the game industry? (Answer!)
A. Absolutely. I think character design and development would be right up my alley.
Q. What music do you like to play games to? (Answer!)
A. Depends on my mood. If I'm out pking I actually enjoy something like KMFDM or Tristania. If I'm questing or just hanging out, my mp3 player is on shuffle. Anything from techno to Classic Rock to JPop to Operatic Metal (eh... anything but rap and new country)..
Q. What are your favorite tabletop (RPG, board, miniatures, etc.) games? (Answer!)
A. I've not really gotten into TTGs myself, but I will be helping my boyfriend with his new models for his WH and 40k armies.
Q. What is the most memorable flamewar you can remember? (Answer!)
A. I've been in so many, I don't remember. More than a few were pretty nasty. I usually end up walking away laughing, knowing I mad that person more angry than they did me. lol
Q. What experience do you have beta-testing games? (Answer!)
A. Not a lot to be honest. I played Last Chaos and one other game (that I can't remember the name of) in beta.
Q. If you could cancel any online game, which would it be? (Answer!)
A. lol That's not really fair to say; if I dislike a game there are still people who enjoy it. I wouldn't want to take other ppl's happiness/hobbies away.
Q. Other than your console or PC, what is the piece of hardware you can't live without? (Answer!)
A. My graphics tablet. I don't have a PSP or GBA or anything like that - so yeah, tablet comes in first.

A. oooo Snobby gamers and rude noobs! You know, that high level player or "I'm so smart" player that doesn't want to help new players (no matter how polite or respectful you are to them). I don't like coming into say, a new guild (in a new game)and being snubbed for asking questions. We were all newbies once! Noobs who spam your chats for team or powerlevel drive me nuts.
Q. Have you ever had a memorable real-life meeting with other gamers? (Answer!)
A. Absolutely! I've made some great rl friends from gaming. Last visit I had was from someone for my birthday - it was a total blast.
Q. What are your most memorable achievements in a game? (Answer!)
A. Being the first level 132 and 133 2nd reborn water taoist on my server in CO. It was very exciting for me. I worked really hard on that char, (and I'm a female), so I was thrilled.
I remember a guild I was GL of winning their first guild war. That was pretty cool, too.
Going black (100+ pkp) on CO for the first time. =)

A. hahaha I don't know off hand, I'd have to ask my boyfriend.
Q. When you are not playing games, what do you do for fun? (Answer!)
A. Doing something artsy or cleaning. Chatting with friends.

A. I do to an extent, and it would depend on the other player as well. We may be pixels in game, but there are ppl behind the pixels. I have had the experience to make some really awesome friends from gaming, so it wouldn't be right for me to say they aren't meaningful.

A. Playing Q-Bert on a Commodore 64.

A. "Deadly beauties." I like grace and elegance. Elfish if there is the option. White hair is a trademark of mine for chars (if white is available). 2 hand weapons = <3

A. If a person bought an item, used it, got tired of it or the game and wants to sell for cash, I don't see a problem. If someone is trying to make money on a game (ie - selling amounts of gold or other items to other players), I don't agree with it.

A. I love it. It can be a lot of fun when you have creative people.

A. To learn about the gaming environment and at some times I like to chat. There are times I like to play alone, but guilds are great for social aspects and learning.

A. That's a tough question, I'd had to really think about that. Right now I'll say "A Song of Fire and Ice" books, though it would be brutal...
